            Trade Associations

            GESUP – Executive Management for Purchasing

            A trade association established in 1983 by major executive managers in Purchasing areas for the chemical industry. My participation began in 1989, and for several years I had the opportunity of being Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator of this group.

            One of the main objectives of this group is to discuss how to best apply our know-how to improve procedures in the Purchasing area, and attempting to identify market trends in the Purchasing area.

            Currently GESUP is associated with Abiquim (Brazilian Chemical Industry Association), and these are the participating companies since it was established: Basf, Bayer, Braskem (OPP, Poliolefinas), Carbocloro, Chevron, Copesul, Dow Chemical, Elekeiroz, Ipiranga Petroquímica, Oxiteno, Petrobrás, Petroquímica União (PQU), Polibrasil, Rhodia, Rhodia-Ster, Solvay, 3 M, Union Carbide and Unipar.  

            Auditing Managers Group

           In 1986 I had the opportunity to be one of the founders of the Auditing Managers Group, which has as its main objective to discuss the best procedures in internal auditing, and attempting to identify process improvements and market trends from the standpoint of an auditor.

 

            INESUP - National Institute of Executive Management for Purchasing

 

            A trade association established in 2005 by Vital Martins Filho, Paulo Homem de Mello Ferreira Gomes e José Arnaldo Dáurea, where the main objective is the valuation of Purchasing Professional using speeches, congresses, training and to discuss how to best apply our know-how to improve procedures in the Purchasing area, and attempting to identify market trends in the Purchasing area.

 

            Club

            GEBASP – Bank Managers Club of São Paulo

           Between 1985 and 1989 I had the opportunity of being appointed Social Director and Sports Director for this club, which is located at Av. Morumbi in São Paulo, where we developed several activities, from sporting competitions among its members to planning many of its parties, festivities and celebrations.
